Dr. Barnes receives Museum of Contemporary Arts's Local Genius Award

Dr. Carol Barnes was chosen as one of the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in Tucson's 2018 Local Genius Award recipients. 

The MOCA Local Genius Awards honors those visionary and innovative Tucsonans whose activities have a global impact, and whose talents have been internationally recognized. The Awards are a testament to the rich intellectual diversity of Tucson and a reflection of MOCA's commitment to honoring cutting edge creativity in all disciplines and practices.

Dr. Barnes will be presented with the award at the Awards Gala on Saturday, April 14th, 2018.
