As a retired emeritus professor in the Department of Psychology, I no longer teach courses, or maintain an active laboratory.
I remain involved in some collaborative research and in various writing projects. I also devote professional service to several organizations and scientific journals, and serve as a teacher (Sensei) of Zen Buddhism, both locally and nationally.

- Psychophysiology and neuroscience of long-term and short-term meditation
- Contemplative pedagogy
- Contemplative approaches to end-of-life-care.
